The Summer of Fun Hiatus Episode

September 1, 2021 To our loyal listeners: It is with sad but fulfilled hearts that we tell you that after an amazing and inspiring one-year run, we are ending the Allies podcast. Shortly after recording this episode, we both found unique and exciting new business ventures and relationships, opportunities for us to pursue new socially-focused projects.  We are grateful to our wonderful guests for sharing their unique and compelling life stories with us.  We hope that through the Allies podcast, some of you have been inspired, challenged or prodded to look at the world a little differently. Who knows? Maybe you reached out to another person seeking a larger purpose, or took the time to dive into that gray area between black and white.   But more than anything, we hope you enjoyed these talks. They weren’t formal or fancy. They were, as we intended, kitchen table talks. But to us, some of the best talks in life happen at kitchen tables, on patios or decks, in plastic chairs with a cup of coffee, a beer or a glass of wine. With family. With friends. With Allies. Thanks for listening. Carmen and Anthony __________ Bored? Wondering what to listen to as you while away the hours at the beach or at the cabin? Then join Carmen and Anthony for the Allies Podcast Summer of Fun Hiatus episode (or Sumfuntus as we never call it). We take a good look back, a quick glance forward and two rapid side to side exchanges on the 28 podcasts we did over the course of these 365 days. Fascinating? Funny? Frightening? Familiar? Yes all of that and several other F words. If you only listen to one podcast this year then this podcast should not be it. But if you listen to two or three or five, then still, probably not worth it. But if you’re at six or higher, it’s a gem. Not a diamond. More like an opal. Enjoy your summer. We’ll see you in the fall.
Hope you enjoyed listening to our first season of episodes as much as we enjoyed creating them. Have a great summer and please check back in the fall for a new season of Allies!
